Green Day –Montessori
The Montessori Section joyfully celebrated Green Day on 3 July 2026, creating awareness among the young learners about the importance of the colour green and the need to protect and nurture nature.
The children and teachers came dressed in vibrant shades of green, adding a lively and cheerful atmosphere to the celebration. The children enthusiastically brought a variety of green-coloured objects such as cucumbers, guavas, capsicums, and other items. A few students confidently spoke about the green objects they had brought, helping to enhance their communication skills and knowledge about healthy green fruits and vegetables.
The celebration included several engaging hands-on activities. The children enjoyed making beautiful origami grapes, creating a handprint plant with colourful flowers, painting a tree sketch using balloon painting techniques, and completing a paper collage activity. These creative experiences encouraged imagination, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for nature.
The celebration was a wonderful blend of fun, creativity, and environmental awareness, inspiring the children to cherish greenery and develop a sense of responsibility towards protecting our planet.
