Founder's Day Celebration-2026
A Founder plants the seed of an institution; generations nurture it into a mighty tree of knowledge and values! Founders Day in any educational institution is a day to commemorate the legacy and vision of its Founder. For every member of the Silas family, 30th September is a very special day as it marks not only the founding of this esteemed institution but also the birthday of its Founder President, Shri R. S. Maben. The whole school vibrated with joy and enthusiasm as we all waited to express our joy and gratitude. The event began with a beautiful prayer song followed by an energetic welcome dance. The Honourable Principal Ms. Jacinta D'Costa graciously welcomed the gathering. Rev. Elisha Prabhakar, the Secretary of Crystal Education Trust, led the Prayer and Worship along with teachers. It was then time to felicitate the Members of staff who had completed fifteen years of service. In her address, the Academic Director, Ms. Dierdra Maben, spoke eloquently about the qualities and values we can learn from our Founder's life: Resilience, Faith, and Character. This was followed by a cultural fiesta lovingly put together by staff and students. While students from the Montessori section came on stage to dance and wish the Founder, students from grades 7 and 8 put up a lively performance. Teachers from both the school and PU section sang soulful songs, but it was the collective performance by the non-teaching section that stole the show. Teachers, students, alumni, old friends, and acquaintances all came forward to wish the Founder and seek his blessings on this momentous occasion, capturing the memories in cameras. We honour the past, celebrate the present, and carry the legacy towards the future!
