Visit to the Post Office-Mont 3
On 27th August 2026, our Mont 3 children enjoyed a delightful educational visit to the local Post Office. It was a wonderful hands-on experience where they discovered the fascinating world of stamps, envelopes, inland letters and postcards, and gained a deeper understanding of the timeless value of postal services in connecting people. The Branch Head graciously introduced them to a variety of stamps, including the special personalised ‘My Stamp’, and the Postmaster captivated their curiosity with a demonstration of the traditional date and place stamping seals. The most cherished moment of the day was when the children posted their very own inland letters, beautifully decorated with drawings and heartfelt little messages, carefully writing their residential addresses with the guidance of their teachers. They are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their letters with the postman. This enriching visit not only ignited an interest in philately but also helped our young learners appreciate the history, culture and joy of written communication in the most meaningful way.
