A Splash of Sunshine: Yellow Day 2026
On 19th August 2026, our Montessori children celebrated Yellow Day with joy, creativity, and sunshine! The day was designed to help our little ones recognize and appreciate the colour yellow, a symbol of happiness, warmth, energy, and positivity. Classrooms transformed into a bright world of lemon, mustard, and golden hues. Students and teachers came dressed in cheerful yellow outfits, setting the tone for a vibrant day. From paint-stamped chicks and potato-stamped pineapples to paper crafts and a "Bring a Yellow Object" show & tell, every moment was filled with creativity, confidence, and laughter. Yellow Day was a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and fun. It gave our Montessori children a memorable experience while strengthening their colour recognition and love for joyful learning.
